Welcome to the Shapies Archive Project!
This website is a work in progress.

The Shapies was a 2002 CGI children’s TV show made by Light Knights. It was notable at one point for being Australia's first fully CGI cartoon, however during its run it never managed to escape obscurity and nowadays it’s exceedingly tough to track down. Season 2 was released on DVD and was on iTunes for a while, but those DVDs are rare and iTunes delisted it in 2021. Season 1 never even got a home media release. Needless to say, this resulted in a lot of lost media.However, the show reran in various English-speaking countries for years after the series ended, so it doesn't seem unreasonable that some people would have recordings lying around. The only way we’ll ever find them, though, is through spreading awareness.That's where we come in. The Shapies Archive Project was started to recover what's lost and build a community for old and new fans alike.
